Bioamino-L in Citrus. Activating Life in the Soils.
Bioamino-L an active liquid organic matter that promotes biological activity in the soil and strongly enhances root development. Four seasons of citrus trials with the GAMA company endorse the results on root development and production.
Orange trees. Trial conducted in Quillota, in an orchard established in the year 2000, Navel Late variety on Citrumelo rootstock, with 800 plants/ha, with a Bioamino-L application program of 160 liters/ha via fertigation, divided into biweekly applications of 10 liters/ha between the months of October and April. The results of four seasons with Bioamino-L showed a greater development of the root system, greater production and better distribution of calibers with greater fruit yield in calibers above 72, without altering the quality of the fruit, when compared with a control without app.(Table 1.)

Mandarin. Trial in an orchard established in 2006 in the town of Panquehue, variety W-Murcott on Citrumelo rootstock, with 1,000 plants/ha, with a Bioamino-L application program of 160 lt/ha via fertigation, divided into biweekly applications of 10 lts/ha between the months of October and April. The results of four seasons with Bioamino-L showed greater development of the root system, greater production and better distribution of calibers with greater fruit yield in calibers over 4, without altering the quality of the fruit, when compared to a control without application.(table 2).

Lemon Tree. Trial conducted by GAMA during two seasons, in an orchard established in 2009 strongly affected by nematodes, var Fino49 on Macrophyla rootstock, with a 6 m x 2 m plantation frame, in the town of Panquehue, with a Bioamino-L application program of 160 liters/ha via fertigation, divided into biweekly applications of 10 liters/ha between the months of October and April. The results of two consecutive seasons with Bioamino-L alone or in combination with the nematicide Cadusafos showed greater root development, higher pruning weight and higher production, when compared to the control cadusafos alone.(table 3.)

After four seasons of trials, we concluded that a Bioamino-L program of 160 lt/ha strongly enhances root development and, in addition, increases total production and that of larger sizes.
